Pedro, aka Kafar, started listening Trance Music in 1998, and in 2001 began his career as a dj under the name of Kafar.
His djsets can only be described as hard kicks and strong melodies, perfect for sunshine. Since then he already played in many parties and festivals with names like Psysex, Digital Talk, Phatmatix, Ptx,Rastaliens, Mekkanikka, Andromeda, Painkiller, CPU, Bliss, A team, Claw, Grapes of Wrath, Cromathone, Poli, Megalopsy, Frantic Noise,Toxic, Bio genesis, XamãCirkus, Xp voodoo, Spectra, Surya namaskar, Menog, Suria ... Kafar is also having his first steps in production, creating his own music. Dj kafar began Samaveda to promote portuguese artists, creating parties full of energy and good vibes. Since 2007 Samaveda has worked with artists like Mekkanika, Ace Ventura, Painkiller, Bliss, CPU, A team, Claw, Grapes of Wrath, Toxic, Bio Genesis among other, and it’s already planning on having other parties with many other artists. As a dj, Kafar has already booked dates to play in Germany, Holland and in one of the most well-known festival in Portugal, the anniversary of Quest4Goa, one of the most important and old promoters is this country. |
